So okay, I finally did it, I finally got the courage to change or revamp my tumblr, the main reason is, uhh, well, okay, first I must tell you what and why I had the title I had before, it was “basuranicelo”, the title comes from my childhood, when I started writing, I made a book, of poems and short stories, I showed it to people and friends, because, well, because I was a kid, and nobody liked it, I think it wasn’t because of the writing, but I think people and my friends hated it because they couldn’t understand it, then again, that may just be my defense mechanism, they called it “basura” and it was mine, so they called it “basura-ni-celo”, those words stuck inside me, and though the people who said them have forgotten, I never did, and I use it to keep writing, and now, I am, I am writing, so I guess I’m leaving the name as a form of moving on, it’s time to let go of the anxieties every-time I write a poem or a short story, letting go is something I’m bad at, you can go ask my ex-girlfriends, I tend to hold on to things that mean to me, negative or positive.
Now I want to let go, I really do, thus the new name:
“Through ad-libs and aspirins”, is the title of my column too, the URL would be my name an what I do here, don’t worry the blogging will still be the same, it’ll still be as personal as it has been, the changes will only be the name, the header pic as well, and a few info’s, I know it may not that be that big of a deal for you and to other people, but to me it is, I’m trying to move on, and based on how tragically bad I am at it, a simple change like this is something that is really momentous for me, so for those who’ve stuck with this blog thanks, and those who would stick with it and not give a crap about the name-change thanks, and for the friends I’ve made in the past couple of years, thanks, you’ve pushed me into moving on and letting go of things I should already have, thank you, and hey, this blog has been on for a while now, as and Gregory House said in season three’s finale:
“It’s just, it’s time for a change.”
